Here’s The Idea

Husband, father, writer, sports fan, athlete, homeowner, taxpayer, political activist: It all adds up, contributes in different degrees, to understanding and insight. That’s largely because I’ve kept my eyes and ears open, observed much over the years and have never ceased being curious.

Up to this point I’ve kept much of what I’ve experienced and reflected upon to myself. It’s time now to  put my thoughts out there – put them to the test.

They’re not strictly about current events, though most all the selections reflect contemporary developments. My intention is, as mush as possible, to guide readers away from the beaten path and to provide fresh perspectives and points of view on a wide range of subjects and to avoid rehashing the conventional conversations.
